BUSINESS SERVICES

The secretariat is in close cooperation with local businesses, both existing and future businesses, and with Gladsaxe Business Council, which is made up of members of the City Council and representatives from local businesses and labour unions. The aim of the Business Council is to secure an ongoing development of businesses, in order to improve employment and educational opportunities.

Currently, the Business Council is lead by Gladsaxe Mayor Karin Søjberg Holst and it includes business representatives from businesses such as Krüger A/S, British American Tobacco Denmark, MT Højgaard A/S, Novo Nordisk A/S, Novozymes A/S, Dyrup A/S, Dansk Brandteknik A/S, Ernst & Young A/S.

The business sekretariat's services include:

• Information, guidance and introduction of businesses to private and public sector experts
• Meeting officials and management involved in establishment of new companies
• Guidance to businesses regarding questions that may arise in business and public service collaboration
• Strengthening dialogue, collaboration and knowledge sharing between businesses and public service
• Conferences and meetings on relevant topics related to entrepreneurship in the business sector.
• Delivering information to and making panel discussions with companies that require local information specific to their field concerning issues such as planning, permits and other technical details.

Our business secretariat collaborates with neighbouring municipalities to establish a stronger business climate and provide better information and support for local businesses.
